What is Crosswords for Juniors?

Crosswords for Juniors is educational software specifically crafted to help kids between the ages of 4-8 to master the alphabet and to improve their spelling proficiency.

Crosswords clues are presented as colorful pictures and kids can drag and drop letters to solve the puzzles. The images "come to life" when the clues are solved correctly and the word is enunciated clearly. Players receive a prize every time a puzzle is solved correctly and each correct puzzle moves them a step closer to the grand prize of a fireworks show at the Fairy Castle.

Various settings allow helpful hints to enabled/disabled as well as reverse the puzzle paradigm letting the players find the images that correspond to the word clues.

There is also a lesson mode that focuses on the alphabet and audible prompts the players for the correct letters.
